Every year awards are presented for innovative concepts in HR management that have proven effective in everyday work. The award offers HR experts the chance to make their successful and innovative work known - both to experts and the public. The winner of 16^th Deutsche Personalwirtschaft-Preis is Linde GmbH. Congratulations! The next award show will take place at HRM Expo in Cologne on 23^rd September 2009.

The "HR Next Generation Award" will be given to young professionals who set new trends in the HR world.Young professionals who questioned and challenged the old ways. With real projects they enhance the dialog between experienced HR managers, newcomers an young professionals.

In 2008 512 exhibitors presented themselves at the HRM Expo. More than 180 further education-and trainings institutions, supplier for e-learning, knowledge management, Seminar and Congress Hotels were present in the hall for "Professional Training and Learning". Because of the increased demand this hall will be even bigger in 2009.

More than 250 suppliers of personnel services, legal advice, family services, outsourcing, temporary employment as well as job exchanges and specialized publishers will be present in the hall for "HR Services & Consulting". Because of the high demand this hall will also be increased.

Automatic access controlling systems, time recording systems, payroll accounting, schedulling and task management and much more will be presented in the hall 4.1, "HR Software & Hardware". Despite of the economic crisis, this hall expanded as well.

The presentation series "Personal & Pflege“ (HR & care) on September 9th offered all decision makers and HR Managers in hospitals, nursing and foster homes the chance to take a new perspective. Looking at things from a different angle will help you find effective strategies for taking on and coping with new challenges

For the third time the presentation series "Personal & Verwaltung" (HR & public admininistration) takes place at "HRM Expo" on September 23^rd, 2009. This programme is customised to the special requirements of HR managers at local authorities, public institutions and NPOs.

The importance of controlling processes in HR has increased immensely over the past few years! This development is going to continue considering the demographic changes and the challenges of globalisation. These new conditions require concepts that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of training programmes distinctively.
